00-01:10 Kyle welcomes us to the Blue Shirt Leadership Podcast. He shares with us the meaning behind BLUE and how everything he does (running a business, coaching, this podcast, and even the rest of life) is influenced by the four key pillars of leadership.
11-03:04 Today’s guest on our podcast is Tracy Enos. Tracy has worked with clients in over 50 industries, is an international best-selling author, and is a LinkedIn Advisory team member, among other things. Despite a freak accident that led to anxiety and depression, Tracy was able to grow her business and has helped her clients generate millions in new business.
05-06:08 Tracy tells us about a freak accident that happened to her and how, despite being hospitalized, she knew her stuff well enough to still sign on new coaching clients from her hospital bed. She shares how things took off for her on LinkedIn and how LinkedIn saved her career
09-09:07 Tracy provides us with a few insights about using LinkedIn for your business. She says the place to start is with the company page and profiles. Make sure you know who your client is and what they are looking for and that your profile reflects how you can help them.
08-11:23 In Tracy’s business, they will help you to optimize your profile page, which will help you get more connection requests, more engagement, and ultimately, be found organically. She talks about the importance of HEAT: Human, Expertise, Authority, and Trust.
24-14:03 Tracy and Kyle discuss that LinkedIn is to grow your business network, to connect business-to-business, and that blue-collar businesses can benefit from these business connections, especially if they are looking to grow their business.
04-15:25 Tracy reminds listeners that their content should reflect the authority and expertise that they have in their given field. She states this will help others see what you’re doing and will help build your referral base.
26-16:02 Kyle and Tracy wrap up their interview. Tracy is offering listeners a free checklist and a copy of her book LinkedIn: Publishing the Prophets which will help you with your LinkedIn profile. You can also check her out on LinkedIn.
